28Jan2013 hosts a ceremony for direct flights between Moscow (Russia) and Nha Trang (Vietnam). At first, there is one flight per week between the two cities. At the end of 2013, Vietnam Airlines plans to have two direct flights per week. The new flights are to meet the increasing demand from Russian tourists for the travel destinations in the South Central Coast of Vietnam including Phan Thiet Mui Ne, Ninh Thuan and Nha Trang which are all known for untouched sandy beaches, luxury beach resorts and hotels and sunshine almost all year round.
Russia is relatively a new market for Vietnam tourism industry. Most Russian tourists travel to Vietnam for relaxing beach holidays. The new direct flights save the visitors time and money without the hassle of extra transfers and flights between Ho Chi Minh City and the beaches.
