1/ Islands on the Mekong River (Song Tien): Turtle, Phoenix...

Ben Tre itself is composed of several islands on different tributaries of the Mekong River. But apart from the main stretch of land (a big island), there are several smaller islands like Turtle, Phoenix, Phu Da,… These smaller islands have fertile soil and local population has a unique lifestyle that you do not want to miss on a trip to Ben Tre.

2/ Dong Khoi Movement Memorial

Visit the Memorial site in Dinh Thuy Commune, Mo Cay District and learn about a piece of the Vietnamese history in 1959-1960. During this time, the Communists in South Vietnam was outlawed and they rallied support from farmers to overthrow the local governments under Diem’s Regime (South Vietnam Republic).

3/ Several orchards
