The Diep Son Island is located in the Van Phong Bay of Khanh Hoa Province. The Diep Son is under the administration of Van Thang Commune, Van Ninh District. The island is 70km northeast of Nha Trang Beach City, the provincial capital of Khanh Hoa Province.

The Diep Son Island actually includes three islands: Bip Island, Giua (Middle Island) and Duoc Island. There is a natural sandy path linking these islands to make up the Diep Son Island. The path is under water at high tide though.
There are deserted beaches on the Diep Son Island combined with crystal clear and turquoise blue water, a vacation on the Diep Son Island is a great experience for those who love simplicity and quietness.

There is a small population on the Diep Son Island and there is fresh water here. But tourism is not yet developed and travel services are limited to simple bungalows and homestay.

How To Get There
From Nha Trang City, travel northward for 60km to Van Gia Commune where there are boat companies licensed to commute between inland the the Diep Son Island. Alternatively you can travel to Van Gia from Tuy Hoa City in Phu Yen Province and enjoy a bit shorter road.
