The Ba Be National Park has a system of limestone mountains, forests, rivers and lakes,.. The national park is listed in the UNESCO World Ramsar Sites. The Ba Be Lakes include 3 lakes connecting one to another which is part of a river system in the region. The length of the lakes is 8 km and the width is 3km.
There are dense forests on limestone mountains at Ba Be National Park. The ecosystem of Ba Be is fed by water from different rivers. The Ba Be National Park is also the home of different Tay, H’mong and Dao communities.
