Fresh Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon) - Vietnamese Food

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls include the fillings wrapped by a rice paper; the fillings include translucent noodle, yolk, mushroom slices, wood ear slices… Fresh spring rolls provide fresh flavors and aroma.

While normal springrolls or fried springrolls provide mixed flavors, fresh ones offer totally different ones. Most of the materials for the fillings used for fresh springrolls are cooked before dined except for herbs. The herbs and cooked fillings make the dish taste fresh and the flavors are preserved of the original ingredients.
