The amendments to Vietnam Immigration Law passed by the National Asssembly of Vietnam on 24-June-2023 is to come into effect from 15-August-2023. The changes to Vietnam's entry visas are as follows:
1/ Electronic Visas (e-visas)
- The duration of a stay is extended from 30 days to 90 days;
- The number of entries changed from Single-Entry to Multiple-Entries.
The Vietnamese Government is to decide which nationals and which border ports the e-visas are applied to.
2/ Visa-free Stays, Visa Exemption Policy
The duration of a stay for those nationals who enjoy visa-free entries into Vietnam is extended from 15 days to 45 days.
