Typhoon No.3 in Vietnam in 2019 (Typhoon Waphi, later tropical depression) has melted away in the mountainous region to the west of the north of the Central Region of Vietnam (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An) but its influence remains in all the North of the country with torrential rains everywhere. The southwesterly monsoon is strong the the sea is rough from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang.
1/North Vietnam
- The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds, rains mostly, 24-28oC in Lang Son, 24-30oC in the others. Dong Van Plateau has rains, 19-24oC.
- The Northwest of Vietnam:
+ Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have rains, 24-28oC. Sapa has rains, 17-21oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds and thunderstorms, 19-22oC. Mai Chau has rains, 24-27oC.
+ Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: rains, 22-26oC in Son La, 22-28oC in Dien Bien Phu, 22-31oC in Lai Chau. Moc Chau Plateau has rains, 19-20oC.
Floods in Dien Bien (Dien Bien Dong).
- The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): rains, 26-28oC in Halong Bay and Hai Phong, 24-29oC in the others.
Water levels are rising fast at the Hoang Long River in Ninh Binh posing dangers of floods.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds and rains mostly in Thanh Hoa, clouds and rains in Nghe An, clouds and thunderstorms in Ha Tinh, 25-30oC in Thanh Hoa, 26-32oC in the others.

Water levels are rising fast at the Buoi and Ma Rivers in Thanh Hoa posing dangers of floods.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
- Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: clouds in Quang Binh and Quang Tri, sun and clouds in Hue, 25-33oC mostly, 26-35oC in Hue.
- Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds, sun, 28-35oC;
- Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): sun, clouds, scattered thunderstorms, 27-35oC in Quang Nam, 26-34oC in the others.

- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have sun, clouds and thunderstorms, pleasant temperatures, 25-32oC mostly, 27-31oC in Vung Tau. Rough sea at Ca Mau destroys the shoreline in the Rach Gia Gulf. Strong winds, torrential rains bring down 200 houses in Kien Giang, sudden rises of sea water, rough sea.
