Vietnam Floods in 2019

9-August-2019 Due to bad weather and flooded runway that Phu Quoc Airport flights were halted from 09:00 A.M to 20:30. The airport has resumed its normal operation after 20:30.

It is mostly cloudy all over Vietnam with scattered thunderstorms everywhere. The temperatures are mostly nice in all regions except for the Central Coast from Quang Binh to Phu Yen where it gets up to 36oC at mid day. Hanoi has a lovely day with mild sunshine and gentle breezes.

Typhoon No.3 in Vietnam in 2019 (Typhoon Waphi) has weakened to be a tropical depression after making landfall at Mong Cai City (Quang Ninh Province) and is making its way wsw through Halong Bay, Hai Phong... to the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam. Torrential rains all over the North, part of the north of the Central Coast (Thanh Hoa), rains in the Central Highlands and South of Vietnam.
