The 11th century pagoda is located on the Phat Tich mountain which offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside: rice fields, mountains and the Duong River. The pagoda is in Phat Tich Commune, Tien Du District.
A visit to the Phat Tich Pagoda includes a not-too-difficult and lovely hike on the mountain with pine woods. The trip to Phat Tich can be beautifully combined with an interesting tour of nearby pagodas and temples amid the idyllic countryside of Bac Ninh.
How to get there
The Phat Tich Pagoda can be reached by a bicycle trip along the Duong River or by car from Hanoi. The distance is 30-33km and the trip takes half a day.
