Quang Tri Vietnam

Quang Tri is where the 17th parallel is located. This was the demarcation line between the North and the South Vietnam during the Vietnam (American) War. The province by far attracts travelers for its recent history but most visitors do not know that Quang Tri possesses amazing natural landscapes.

The Cua Tung Beach is located in Cua Tung Town, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province. The Cua Tung Beach is located on the northern side of the Ben Hai River Estuary.

Dong Ha has a tropical monsoon climate: summer from May through July, autumn from late August through October, winter from November through January, spring from February through March.

Vietnam's former DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is in Quang Tri Province. Visiting the DMZ is an interesting place for war veterans and those interested in learning about the recent history of Vietnam.

Quang Tri is a province in the Central Region of Vietnam. The capital of Quang Tri is Dong Ha City, 600km south of Hanoi. Quang Tri has several sites which mark famous battles during the Vietnam War (or American War).
