Alternatively, you can go birdwatching on bicycle through the grassland area of Cat Tien, but this may pose some dangers due to frequent presence of wild gaurs and elephants. Another option for birding at Cat Tien is on foot which is convenient around the headquarters of the national park, but this makes it difficult to travel farther afield.
