A cool air mass is moving southwards putting and end to the heat strike in parts of northern Vietnam and causing possible torrential rains and thunderstorms in the North and North of the Central Region of Vietnam. The temperatures in the Northwest remain high. The Central Coast still has a hot day. The South of Vietnam has a day with clouds, sun and scattered thunderstorms.
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds and rains all over, pleasant temperatures, 22-32oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) has clouds and thunderstorms, 17-22oC.
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Lao Cai have clouds and sun mostly, patchy rains, 24-33oC, 25-35oC in Lao Cai. Sapa has clouds and thunderstorms, 15-24oC. Mu Cang Chai has clouds and showers, 19-29oC.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: sun mostly, patchy rain, 25-41oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds and rains, 22-27oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds mostly and patchy rains, 24-34oC mostly, 27-37oC in Ninh Binh. Hanoi has cloudy day with weak northerly wind, a bit humid in the early morning, breezy from mid day, pleasant mostly.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) sun mostly and clouds, hot, 26-37oC. Torrential rains with hailstones in Ky Son Nghe An and thunderstorms with strong winds in Que Phong (Nghe An) and in Huong Khe (Ha Tinh) causes damage to several households and rice fields.

Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): clouds and sun, 27-34oC, 27-36oC in Ninh Thuan.
