Geography
Soc Trang is adjacent to Tra Vinh to the east, the two provinces are separated by the Hau River. The East Vietnam Sea is to the the south of Soc Trang. The other adjacent provinces are Vinh Long and Hau Giang to the north, Bac Lieu to the west.
