Con Dao Islands is an offshore island in the south of Vietnam. Con Dao Islands can be reached by air or by speedboat.

Soc Trang is a province in the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam. The provincial capital of Soc Trang is the eponymous city. Soc Trang is off the tourist track, the land could offer great experiences to the adventure travelers.

Soc Trang has a tropical monsoon climate with two seasons per year: dry season from December through April, rainy season from May through November. It rains more at the end of the rainy season in October and November. The hottest month of the year is April where for several weeks the temperatures reach 36oC or more daily.

From 14July2017 Superdong started operating speedboat trips between Soc Trang and Con Dao Island. The boat departs Soc Trang everyday at the Port of the Police Border of Tran De District (Soc Trang Province) at 0800 A.M and arrives at Ben Dam Port on Con Dao Island after 150 minutes. The return trip starts from Con Dao at 13:00.
