On 3August2012, VietJetAir started flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, after two months operating flights between Hanoi and Nha Trang. Currently, the air firm only flies on Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The fleet of VietJetAir has 3 Airbus 320s now and the firm is to have 2 more aircrafts at the end of 2012. VietJetAir is a new privately owned airline in Vietnam with flights to different tourist attractions in the country.

19May2012 VietJetAir started flights between Hanoi and Nha Trang. The daily flight departs Hanoi at 0930 A.M and the return flight departs Nha Trang at 1145 A.M. The flight time is 1hour 45 minutes. The flights between these two cities are to meet the high demand for air travel by the Vietnamese tourists in northern region to the beach city of Nha Trang.

VietJetAir is to begin flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang from 27April2012 and between Hanoi - Nha Trang from 19May2012. The flights between Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang are twice daily and the flights Hanoi - Nha Trang are once daily. Also, VietJetAir is to increase flights between Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City to 8 return flights per day.

28Jan2013 hosts a ceremony for direct flights between Moscow (Russia) and Nha Trang (Vietnam). At first, there is one flight per week between the two cities. At the end of 2013, Vietnam Airlines plans to have two direct flights per week. The new flights are to meet the increasing demand from Russian tourists for the travel destinations in the South Central Coast of Vietnam including Phan Thiet Mui Ne, Ninh Thuan and Nha Trang which are all known for untouched sandy beaches, luxury beach resorts and hotels and sunshine almost all year round.
