Hung Yen Vietnam

Hung Yen Province is located in the Red River Delta and to the east of Hanoi. Hung Yen is among those provinces in northern Vietnam where traditional culture is well preserved.

Hung Yen Province has a tropical monsoon climate: summer from April through July, autumn from late August through October, winter from November through February, spring from February through March. From June through October, it is typhoon season in northern Vietnam but historical records say the province has not suffered much from typhoons or tropical storms.
