10-May-2019 Another cloudy day in Vietnam, from the north to the south. Rains are found in most of South Vietnam. Northern Vietnam has a cloudy day with extremely pleasant temperatures. It has been the summer in the North and the temperatures got up to over 39oC a few days ago, now the weather is more like in the winter here!
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds and sun mostly, 21-27oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) is cloudy mostly, 15-18oC.
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh and Yen Bai have clouds all over, 22-29oC. Sapa is rainy, 13-18oC. Mu Cang Chai has thunderstorms, 17-23oC.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: clouds mostly, rains in Dien Bien Phu and Lai Chau, 21-33oC. Moc Chau Plateau has thunderstorms, 19-22oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh): clouds all over, pleasant temperatures, 22-27oC. Hanoi has another chilly day and people have to put on warm clothes going out.
2/North of the Central Region (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh) clouds mostly, rains in Ha Tinh, 23-26oC.
3/The coastal areas in the Central Region of Vietnam (Central Coast of Vietnam including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan)
Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue: clouds all over, rains in Quang Binh and Quang Tri in the afternoon, 24-31oC.
Da Nang, Hoi An: clouds and sun, 25-32oC;
Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh (Quy Nhon Beach), Phu Yen (Tuy Hoa Beach): clouds in the morning, afternoon rains all over, 24-32oC.
Khanh Hoa (Nha Trang), Ninh Thuan (Ninh Chu Beach), Binh Thuan (Phan Thiet Beach, Mui Ne Beach): sun and clouds, afternoon rains in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, 26-34oC.
4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds in the morning, afternoon rains all over, 21-30oC. Da Lat has rains, 17-23oC.
5/The South of Vietnam: South Vietnam is in the rainy season with torrential rains accompanied by strong winds normally in the afternoon. Streets in cities can be flooded. It is advisable to be careful with fallen trees, electricity leakage, hidden sewage openings... when traveling in the rains.
- Vung Tau, Saigon, Mekong Delta have patchy rains, 26-32oC. Torrential rains in Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, streets are flooded again.
- Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc: rains all over, 26-32oC.
Con Dao Islands have thunderstorms, 28-29oC; Phu Quoc Island has sun and clouds, 27-29oC.
