28-April-2019 It is a public holiday in Vietnam today and Hanoi has a wonderful cloudy, breezy day with pleasant temperatures and with thunderstorm torrential rains in late afternoon. A day of clouds, breezes and mild sunshine in most of Vietnam. The heat strike is definitely over and there are rains in several regions of the country in the late afternoon. It seems the South of Vietnam and the Central Highlands have entered into the rainy season with daily short-lived rains and with much more pleasant temperatures than earlier. Saigon has a sudden torrential rain in the afternoon which makes the air much fresher and the temperatures nicer.
1/The Northeast of Vietnam (Lang Son, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen): clouds mostly and patchy rains in Ha Giang, 19-29oC. Dong Van Pleau (Ha Giang) is rainy, 19-24oC.
The Northwest of Vietnam: Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Lao Cai have clouds mostly, rains in Lao Cai in the evening; 24-32oC. Sapa is cloudy, 14-22oC. Mu Cang Chai is thunderstorm, 18-23oC.
Son La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau: patchy rains in Lai Chau, clouds and pleasant temperatures, 24-33oC. Moc Chau Plateau has clouds and sun, 20-25oC.
The lowlands (Halong Bay, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh) are cloudy and sunny, 27-32oC. Hanoi has a cloudy and breezy day with thunderstorm and torrential rains in late afternoon, pleasant temperatures, 26-21oC.

4/The Central Highlands (Kon Tum, Gia Lai - Pleiku, Dak Lak - Buon Ma Thuot, Lam Dong) clouds mostly, pleasant temperatures, 21-29oC. Da Lat is cloudy, 17-23oC.
