14January2019 A new spell of cold winds (northeasterly monsoon) starts blowing into northern Vietnam and continue its movements from the Northeast southwards and southwestwards. It is expected to get cold in the North and North of the Central Region of Vietnam from the early evening of 15January2019.
On high altitudes, the warm westerly winds continues its movement eastwards. The meeting of these two winds often causes rain, especially to the Northwest and the western side of the North Central Region of Vietnam. As the Northeasterly monsoons gradually influences the other regions in the south, rains and lower temperatures are expected in the next couple of days.
15January2019 Northeast of Vietnam has rains, 7-16oC; cloudy in the Northwest, 13-27oC; the lowlands have just light rains, 13-26oC. The whole North of Vietnam starts getting cold from late afternoon.
North of the Central Region has light rains+sunshine, 13-26oC.
The Central Coast has light rains, clouds, sunshine with temperatures 13-27oC.
Central Highlands are sunny, 17-30oC and 14-21oC in Da Lat.
South of Vietnam has full sunshine, 24-32oC.
16January2019 The Northeast has lightrain, 7-13oC; The Northwest has light rains and sunshine, 11-21oC; the lowlands are mostly cloudy, 12-18oC. The air gets less moist in the North and the winds are strong.
The North of the Central Region has light rains, 13-18oC.
The Central Coast of Vietnam has light rains, 17-28oC
The Central Highlands are sunny, 19-29oC and 14-22oC in Da Lat.
The South of Vietnam is sunny, 24-32oC.
17January2019 The whole North of Vietnam welcomes a brisk day, dry and windy and cold! The North East of Vietnam is sunny and cold, 6-18oC; The North West of Vietnam sunny, 11-24oC; the lowlands is cloudy or sunny, 12-18oC. Hanoi has a clear day, sunny in Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. The strong winds make it clear on Halong Bay, lucky to those travelers having a cruise on the bay today.
The spell of cold winds have certainly had their effects on the North of the Central Region and the Central Coast of Vietnam today. There are heavy rains in the provinces from Hue to Binh Dinh (109-148mm). The North of the Central Region has rains, 13-18oC.
The Central Coast mostly have rains, 16-27oC.
The Central Highlands enjoyed full sunshine, 18-27oC; 14-21oC in Da Lat.
The South of Vietnam (Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta) has a sunny day, 23-33oC.
18January2019 The Northeast is with clear skies, 12-18oC; the Northwest has a clear day, 14-24oC; the lowlands have a clear and dry day, 16-19oC.
North of the Central Region has light rains, 16-19oC.
North of the Central Coast has rains, 18-24oC.
South of the Central Coast (Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan) is sunny, 22-28oC.
The Central Highlands are sunny, 17-27oC; 13-21oC in Da Lat.
South of Vietnam is sunny and warm, 22-33oC.
19January2019 The Northeast has a cloudy day, 12-20oC; the Northeast has a cloudy day, 16-26oC, the lowlands including Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh have a hazy day, 18-23oC.
North of the Central Region has a cloudy day, 18-22oC.
The Central Coast has a cloudy day with rain in some area, 19-25oC.
South of the Central Coast has light rains to the north and sunshine to the south, 22-31oC.
The Central Highlands have a sunny day, 17-29oC; 12-22oC in Da Lat.
The South of Vietnam has a sunny day, 23-34oC.
