These two birds are very similar white black face, white cheek, black throat, chestnut back.
The difference between the White-cheeked Laughingthrush and the Black-throated Laughingthrush:
1/ White-cheeked Laughingthrush
- Black front;
- Small area of throat with black color;
- White-tipped tail.
2/ Black-throated Laughingthrush
- White front;
- Extensive area of black throat (to the breast);
- Black-tipped tail.
