How to get to there
Y Ty is 100km northwest of Sapa and 80km northwest of Lao Cai. The road to Y Ty is in fairly good conditions but mostly very steep. Double check the brakes of your vehicles if you plan to travel to Y Ty by your own means of transport.
There are only few buses commuting Lao Cai and Y Ty daily, mostly early in the morning.
