26April2012 Phuc Thinh Company started the commuting speedboats between Halong Bay (Quang Ninh Province) and Cat Ba Island (Hai Phong Province). The piers at Ha Long City are Hon Gai and Tuan Chau Island; those on Cat Ba Island are Gia Luan and Ben Beo.

The Sung Sot Cave is located on the Bo Hon Island, 1 hour 20 minutes boat trip from the Tuan Chau Island. The cave entrance is about 35m high and the exit is about over 40m. The whole island is covered in dense trees and vines and the cave offers great views of Halong Bay.

The Thien Cung Cave is located on the Dau Go Island, 7km or 30 minutes boat trip from the shore. The Thien Cung Cave is on the same island with the historical Dau Go Cave.

Quang Ninh is in the Northeast of Vietnam, the provincial capital is Halong City, 170km from Hanoi. Quang Ninh is a rich province in Vietnam: having a border with China busy with trade, rich in mineral resources (coal,…), big industrial zones and sea ports (in Halong City), amazing tourist attractions…

Van Don Airport in Halong Bay starts coming into operation from 30December 2018. This is the first privately owned airport in Vietnam. The airport is planned for Vietnam domestic flights and international flights which faciliate travel to Halong Bay, a world-famed tourist attraction in Vietnam.

Vietnam is getting to be too hot a travel destination after a couple of decades the country is open to the outside world. There is no doubt tourism has helped the local economy tremendously and millions of people have benefited from participating in tourism business in Vietnam. The question is for how long it is going to be that way?
